This page describes how Local Pros Business Network ("LPBN") and the featured local professional ("Pro") you select may contact you by phone call, SMS/text message, and email when you submit a lead through LPBN, and how to manage or revoke that consent. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Your express consent
By submitting a lead form, providing your phone number, or otherwise requesting contact through LPBN, you expressly consent to receive communications from LPBN and the selected Pro by phone call, SMS/text message, and email — including communications sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or autodialed text messages — at the phone number(s) and email address(es) you provide.
Consent to receive such communications is not a condition of any purchase. You may still contact a featured Pro directly using the public phone number listed on their directory profile.
2. Types and frequency of messages
- Lead confirmation — a one-time confirmation that your lead was received.
- Pro outreach — the Pro you selected will contact you to discuss your project.
- Service updates — appointment scheduling, status updates, follow-up about the project you submitted.
- Account & moderation — confirmations for account actions and feedback moderation.
- Newsletter (opt-in) — community updates only if you separately opt in.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions and the Pro's response cadence.
3. Standard SMS terms
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile carrier plan.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers.
4. How to opt out
- SMS: Reply STOP to any text message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
- Email newsletters: Click the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
- Phone calls: Tell the caller you wish to be removed and we will honor the request.
- All channels: Email info@lpbn.us with the subject line "Stop Contact" and we will suppress your contact information across LPBN systems.
Opting out of marketing communications does not stop transactional messages necessary to deliver a service you specifically requested (for example, confirming receipt of a lead you just submitted).
5. Communication from featured Pros
Once your lead is forwarded, the Pro you selected becomes an independent recipient of your contact information and may contact you directly. The Pro's communication practices are governed by the Pro's own policies and applicable law (including the TCPA, the Florida Telemarketing Act, and the Florida and federal Do-Not-Call rules). If you wish a Pro to stop contacting you, tell them directly; you may also notify LPBN at info@lpbn.us and we will pass along the request.
6. Record of consent
We keep a record of when and how you submitted each lead (timestamp, IP address, the form you submitted from, and the Pro selected) to demonstrate consent if questioned.
